After two years working with startups and building your reputation with the help of Capital Factory, you will receive a one-month, paid sabbatical to figure out your next step — you can pursue a career in the Venture Capital industry, join a high growth startup as one of the first employees, be promoted to Events Director at Capital Factory, or launch your own event production company.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Own major, sponsored events for Capital Factory such as Austin Startup Week, Diversity and Inclusion, Fed Supernova, Startup Crawl, and SXSW from start to finish, according to the Capital Factory Playbooks
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential topics and speakers
- Come up with ideas for unique activations and experiences that leave lasting impressions
- Market each event to fill the room with the right attendees
- Execute with attention to detail
- Track the key metrics needed to learn from each event and make it better, while proving to our sponsors the value of their investment
